ABOUT OUR SERMONS

At WCBC, we believe that God's Word is the means by which the Holy Spirit conforms us to the image of His Son (Rom. 8:29; cf. 2 Tim. 4:2). Because Scripture is referred to as food (1 Tim. 4:6; 1 Pet. 2:2), a steady diet of expositional preaching (explaining the text and applying the text) is the most helpful for the Church.
